Ahead of the press conference to formally announce the bill at the Accra City Hotel on Wednesday November 29, undefeated Felix ‘Alvaro’ Ajom (8-0-1, 7 KOs) has sent a strong warning to Abraham ‘No Shaking’ Osei Bonsu (11-2-1,10 KOs), vowing to stop his opponent in round 9 when the two fight for the vacant Ghana national super featherweight title on the Azumah Nelson Fight Night round 5 at the Bukom Boxing Arena on December 9.
One of five evenly matched bouts on the Hemann Promotions bill, matchmaker Rasheed ‘Believer’ Williams insists the fight of the night is the clash between Ajom and Bonsu who previously held this same title and lost a split decision to Wahab ‘Seunzy’ Oluwaseun back in April in a fight for the same belt.
“I want all boxing fans to come and see how I will punish Abraham Osei Bonsu before stopping him in 9,” Ajom said ahead of their scheduled 12-rounder.
Nigerian born Oluwaseun (15-0, 10 KOs) has relinquished the national title of course and will battle also undefeated Ghanaian, Bright ‘Checker’ Ayala (14-0, 9 KOs) for the vacant WBA Pan-African super featherweight strap in the main card of the latest Azumah Nelson Fight Night.
Also not to be missed on the four excellent undercards is the long awaited super middleweight clash, as well a final Commonwealth title eliminator between undefeated duo, Emmanuel ‘Mayweather’ Martey (12-0, 10 KOs) and namesake, Emmanuel ‘Horse Power’ Anim (13-0, 10 KOs).
Another interesting match-up is the grudge fight between Kpakpo ‘Punisher’ Allotey (11-0, 8 KOs) and Robert ‘Stopper’ Quaye (15-0, 12 KOs) for the national super lightweight belt and final Commonwealth title eliminator.
Concluding the fight action is the highly rated youngster, Wasiru ‘Dzata Bi’ Mohammed (4-0, 4 KOs) who takes on also undefeated and upcoming Emmanuel Otoo (2-0, 2 KOs) in a super bantamweight contest over 6 rounds.
