Tonight at 9PM EST/6PM PST, “JEK III Productions” presents the new IBF Welterweight Champion “Showtime” Shawn Porter, two division world champion Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi, undefeated Featherweight prospect Miguel Flores, Hall of Fame matchmaker and promoter Don “War a Week“ Chargin, undefeated Junior Middleweight prospect Jermall Charlo, and Junior Welterweight contender “Hammerin” Hank Lundy on tonight’s two hour episode of “The Pugilist KOrner”.

Kicking off tonight’s two hour program will be newly crowned IBF Welterweight Champion “Showtime” Shawn Porter (23-0-1, 14 KOs). The talented Akron, Ohio native will discuss his impressive title winning effort against two division world champion Devon Alexander. “Showtime” will also discuss the landscape of the packed Welterweight division, as well as last Saturday night’s epic in San Antonio, Texas between Adrien Broner and Marcos Maidana.
Making his way back to “The Pugilist Korner” will be two division world champion Paulie “Magic Man“ Malignaggi (33-5, 7 KOs). “Master Splinter” will discuss his latest victory in the ring over fellow Brooklynite, Zab Judah, which aired on Showtime Championship Boxing on December 7th. The insightful Showtime commentator will also give us his thoughts on how he saw the action at ringside in San Antonio, Texas this past Saturday night.
Also appearing on the program once again will be undefeated Featherweight prospect Miguel Flores (12-0, 7 KOs). The murderous body puncher from Houston, Texas will discuss his recent KO victory over Jorge Rodriguez, which took place this past Saturday night n Cancun, Mexico. Miguel will also talk about fighting under the Golden Boy Promotional banner and his growth as a professional fighter.
It is always an honor to feature this living legend to the show. Making another special appearance to “The Pugilist KOrner” will be Hall of Fame matchmaker and promoter Don “War a Week” Chargin. The six decade fight proponent will talk about Golden Boy’s promotional endeavors in 2013, as well as their projections for the new year. The senior advisor to GBP will also discuss the group’s latest acquisition, WBA Light Heavyweight Champion Beibut Shumenov, as well as his future in one of the more exciting divisions in boxing.
Returning to “The Pugilist KOrner” will be undefeated Junior Middleweight prospect “Iron Man” Jermall Charlo (17-0, 13 KOs). The hard punching fighter will talk about his recent KO victory over Joseph De Los Santos, which aired on Fox Sports this past Friday night from the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. The 23 year old pugilist will also give us his take on this past Saturday night’s main event between Marcos Maidana and Adrien Broner, which he attended in San Antonio, Texas.
In the final segment of the program, The Pugilist KOrner is proud to feature Junior Welterweight contender “Hammerin” Hank Lundy (23-3-1, 11 KOs). The hard punching southpaw will discuss his future in the deep 140 pound weight division, as well as his most recent eye opening effort against Ajose Olusegun, which aired on ESPN 2 in July.
Tonight’s two hour program will be hosted by producer and radio commentator James E. King III, and boxing writer and ring announcer Joseph Herron.
