How are you getting ready for your fight March 30?
Everything is going well. We're ready to
teach that boy a lesson. I don't have much
to tell him now until we get into the ring.
What do you know about your opponent?
I don't know anything about him. He's undefeated
named, Henry Porras with 23 wins and 18
KO's. I'll teach him a lesson on Saturday
at Sovereign Center, Reading, Pa. I'm going
to do what I have to do.
When did you start amateur?
I started boxing in Togo, West Africa 1984
Why did you decide to box?
Because, I tried it first and loved it
How many amateur fights did you have?
I had about 36 fight I lost 6 and the 30 by knockout.
What do you remember about your first professional fight?
My first Pro fight was in Togo. I never thought I will be where I'm today. I just remember knocking that guy out
How would you describe your fight with Ike Quartey?
It was a pretty good fight but I lost the fight.
Your impression of Quartey?
I can't say much about Quartey now. He's got his personal life so I can comment on him.
What do you want to tell your fans?
I want to tell my fans at home in Africa and worldwide that Jaffa is still the same good they know. Same Jaffa from Africa, I want my fans to come and see a great show. I'll prove it on March 30.
Your advice to people in Africa on how the Boxing can be improve there?
We need to seat with the people incharge of African boxing and show them the benefit of Boxing. They think boxing is for crazy people that's not true. Boxing can help some people in the Society bring them from bad to good citizens.
Any comment to Champions in your class?
They know me and they can't continue to run. I fought in Denmark for few years. When I tried to fight for the European title non them wanted to fight me. Once, I beat this guy I hope I can get Byron Mitchel or Eric Lucas.
