YOUNG GUNS At The Friar Tuck Inn CANCELLED

22.01 - Catskill, NY - www.TheDailySports.com, Inc has announced today that YOUNG GUNS At The Friar Tuck Inn, scheduled for Friday, January 24 has been CANCELLED.

Due to problems with several fighter's medicals and one in violation of probation, the NYS Athletic Commission cancelled the show due to lack of approved rounds and or bouts.

"We are extremely disappointed that this show was cancelled. This was the second time and we were positive that it would have been successful at the Friar Tuck. We wanted to have a bi-monthly show put on in the Catskills but it now looks like that will not happen", stated Bill Calogero, president of TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions.

He added, "The Commission is very strict and although I agree with their medical requirements, I feel that this commission tries too hard to prove how much they are helping promoters but in fact, do nothing of the sort. I do not plan on promoting shows in New York in the near future.
