Miller – Desjardins Added To “Tribal Pride” Broadcast

HOLLYWOOD, FL, May 17 – With a world lightweight title on the line, two unbeaten cruiserweights battling to keep their perfect records intact, and a kickboxing superstar making his pro boxing debut, Thursday’s ‘Tribal Pride’ show is undoubtedly packed with world class fistic action.

But there’s always room for one more great bout, and Warriors Boxing Promotions and Sycuan Ringside Promotions are pleased to announce an addition to the pay-per-view broadcast as unbeaten Colombian knockout artist Samuel Miller – ranked #15 in the world by the WBO – fights for the second time in the United States against the ever durable Martin Desjardins, a Montreal, Canada native who will get to have his home fans cheer him on from north of the border as the bout will be televised live on PPV on Viewer’s Choice and Bell Express throughout Canada

Miller-Desjardins, a super middleweight bout scheduled for eight rounds, will take place on Thursday, May 18 from the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, Florida.

‘Tribal Pride’, which is headlined by the Interim IBF Lightweight Championship bout between Ricky Quiles (39-6-3, 8 KOs) and Julio Diaz (32-3, 24 KOs), will air live on pay-per-view in the United States and Canada beginning at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT.

Also on the card, unbeaten cruiserweights Felix Cora Jr. and Vadim Tokarev square off, and former K-1 kickboxing superstar Siala “Mighty Mo” Siliga will be making his professional boxing debut in a heavyweight bout against Lamar Stephens.
