09.10.06 – Undefeated middleweight prospect Michael Walker has been added to the OCTOBER FURY card set for Friday, October 20th at Cicero Stadium, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions. The action packed eight bout OCTOBER FURY card is presented by Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions, HOME OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING and Bob Arum’s Top Rank Incorporated, along with Miller Lite and TCF Bank.
Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm. Tickets, starting at $30, are on sale in advance by calling 312-226-5800.
Walker, a former Chicagoland amateur standout, is riding a six bout winning streak since his much talked about draw with Jimmy Gonzalez on July 15, 2005 at the Aragon Ballroom. The draw is the only blemish on his otherwise perfect record of 13-0-1(8KO’s).
Said Pesoli, “Walker’s a real warrior, his fight with Jimmy had our fans on their feet for the duration of the bout, cheering on both guys. We’re very happy to bring him back for our fans to get another viewing.”

The Master of Ceremonies for this event will be the internationally recognized voice of Latino boxing, Lupe Contreras.
