New Jersey, (November 6, 2006 ) – KEA boxing is stepping up to the next level as they head into their 7 th show in Whippany, New Jersey on Friday November 10th. After adding two more undefeated prospects to the card, this is surely KEA’s most impressive lineup to date. Lyndhurst’s electrifying super middleweight, Wayne “Lights Out” Johnsen 13-1, 8 KO will be featured in the main event.. He is riding a 3-fight knockout streak into this fight. He will be battling the undefeated, Josh Hammock, 7-0, 5 KO’s in the 8- round main event.
Prospects, Henry Crawford, 12-0-1, 5 KO’s and, Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson, 11-0-1, 5 KO’s have also recently been added to the show. Crawford, who is promoted by Main Events, is an undefeated welterweight from Patterson who is coming off of an impressive 14 second knockout on the undercard of Barerra-Juarez II. He will be stepping up his level of competition when he faces heavy-hitting veteran Christopher Henry, 22-14, 16 KO’s.
Kevin Johnson is a legitimate heavyweight prospect, who is 6 feet 5 inches and weighs in around a solid 240 pounds. He will be facing a big puncher with a deceiving record in Brooklyn’s Rodney Ray, 3-3, 1, 3 KO’s. To date every fighter that Ray has faced has been undefeated, and he is keeping that streak alive by facing the Asbury Park fighter, who is Star Boxing’s top heavyweight prospect.
West New York’s undefeated Antonio Espinoza, 5-0, 1 KO is another talented New Jersey fighter who is one to keep an eye on. He will be taking on Felisiberto Fernandes 4-5, 2 KO’s , a tough veteran who has never been stopped. The slick boxing junior- welterweight will be making his New Jersey debut at the Birchwood. He is coming off of an impressive unanimous decision at the legendary Blue Horizon in Philadelphia.
Jersey City bantamweight, JV Tuazon, 0-0-1 will and lightweight Nicky Demarco, 1-0, 1 KO will be making their return to the Brawls at the Birchwood. Both fighters made their pro debuts there in August. While Bayonne’s young super middleweight Vincent Irwin, 1-1, 1 KO will be taking on Phil Hicklin to round out the 7 fight card.
