19.11.06 – Chicagoland fan favorite, undefeated light heavyweight Mike Nevitt returns to the ring on Friday December 1st at Cicero Stadium as part of DECEMBER FRENZY, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions. DECEMBER FRENZY, another evening of world class professional boxing, is presented by 8 Count Productions and Bob Arum’s Top Rank Incorporated along with Miller Lite and TCF Bank..
Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm. Tickets, starting at $30, are on sale in advance by calling 312-226-5800.
Nevitt, 12-0 (5KO’s) won the Illinois State Light Heavyweight Title with a dominating unanimous decision win over Rocky Smith on December 3, 2005 at the Aragon Ballroom. In his last fight Nevitt won a unanimous decision win over Jesse Sanders on March 17, 2006 at the Aragon Ballroom.
