Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm. Tickets, starting at $30, are on sale in advance by calling 312-226-5800.
Gonzalez, a native of Bayamon, Puerto Rico now living in Milwaukee, sports a record of 9-0 (8KO’s) and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Marcus Brashears on November 10th at Cicero Stadium. Since turning pro in April 2005, Gonzalez has thrilled packed houses with his aggressive style and thunderous body attack.
Madrid, 8-2 (2KO’s), of El Paso, Texas is coming off a decision win over Dale McCartey this past September at the Isleta Casino in Albuerqueque, New Mexico.
Said Pesoli, “Mike has impressed our fans since we signed him after he beat Tommy Bach in his second pro bout. He continues to improve and we’re expecting big things from him in 2007. Madrid is a very tough kid from El Paso, but Mike trains hard and I’m sure he’ll be prepared to keep his unbeaten streak alive.”
MAS MACHO is headlined by an outstanding twelve round WBO NABO super bantamweight title bout between El Paso’s Antonio Escalante, 14-1 (9KO’s) and Dominican native Leivi Brea, 16-3-3 (8KO’s).
