Max Alexander to take on Jeff Baker on “Night of the Undefeated” Card

Philadelphia—(March 12, 2007)—Fresh of his decisive victory on February 9th over Marty Lindquist, Max Alexander will once again risk his undefeated record when he takes on Jeff Baker of Indianapolis, Indiana in a scheduled eight round Light Heavyweight bout as the co-feature on April 6th at The Legendary Blue Horizon in Philadelphia, PA..

Alexander, of Camden, New Jersey brings a record of 13-0-1 with two knockouts and is coming off a dominating performance over Lindquist where he scored four knockdowns en route to winning the unanimous decision by scores of 79-69 on all cards.

Baker, of Indianapolis, brings in a fine record of 14-3 with seven wins coming by way of knockout. Baker started his career by winning his first twelve bouts. After suffering his first loss, Baker rebounded to win two fights in a row before enduring the two fight losing streak that he currently his on. Baker has won some regional title belts such as the Indiana State Light Heavyweight title and the NABC Indiana Cruiserweight title.

Yet another fighter that has yet to taste defeat has been added to “The Night of the Undefeated” on April 6th.

Heavyweight Arron Lyons of Gulfport, Mississippi will be making his return to the building where he sprung one of the biggest upsets of 2006 when he stopped previously undefeated and highly regarded Joey Abell.

Lyons, 5-0 with four knockouts will be taking on Leroy Berbick of Jersey City, New Jersey in a scheduled four round bout.

If the name Berbick sounds familiar, you would be thinking of Leroy’s late uncle Trevor Berbick who was the former WBC Heavyweight champion.

Leroy Berbick is 2-2 with both wins coming by knockout. This will be Berbick’s first fight in over six years, when he lost by knockout to former world title contender DaVarryl Williamson.

With the Addition of Lyons there are currently six undefeated fighters on “Night of the Undefeated.”
