Speaking from his home in Milwaukee, the Puerto Rican native Gonzalez stated, “I’ve been training since mid February and I’m in very good shape. I haven’t seen Alvarado fight but I’m going in with a very solid game plan and I’m confident that I’ll be successful.
I know in his last fight he fought Jorge Paez Jr. for six tough rounds, so I’m prepared for a very solid battle.”
In closing Gonzales stated, ‘The fans at the PAR A DICE were great, it’s a first class place to fight. Put a Puerto Rican like me in with a Mexican and they should get what they came for.”

Gonzales bring a record of 9-0-1 (8KO’s) into the fight while Alvarado, fighting out of Fort Wayne, Indiana carries a record of 7-5-2 (4KO’s).
