Cruiserweight prospect, Aaron Williams (14-0, 10 KO’s), returns to the ring this Saturday night in Cleveland, as Ron Johnson’s America Dream Productions presents “Put Down the Guns and Pick-up the Gloves,” October 6th at The Cleveland Plain Dealer Nautica 2014 Sycamore Street, downtown Cleveland. Doors open at 6:00 pm, first bout starts at 7:00 pm..
The night’s action will be taped and rebroadcast by Fox Sports Cleveland.
The 21 year old Williams takes on Ryan Carrol (6-0 4 KO’s) in the co-main event.
Williams was a former 9-time national amateur champion. A Cleveland native, Williams currently lives and train in Las Vegas, NV.
The event is in association with NFL legend Jim Brown’s Amer-I-can Foundation. Mr. Brown will be ringside fight night. Also ringside will be Cleveland Mayor, Frank G. Jackson.
“I’m happy to be fighting in Cleveland,” said Williams. “I worked very hard in camp, training and sparing with Chad Dawson to get ready. I love fighting in my hometown.”

Williams is trained by former WBA Light Heavyweight champion, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad. His conditioning coach is highly regarded, Axel Murillo. Murillo is also the conditioning coach of current WBC Light Heavyweight champion Chad Dawson.
In addition to the Williams’ and Johnson bouts, there will be four supporting bouts that will showcase young, Cleveland talent.
Scheduled to make his much anticipated pro debut is 18 year-old amateur, Donte Moore.
In the main event, America Dream Production’s, Ronald Johnson (9-1) meets Carlos Raul Ibarra, 6-2, 4 KO’s for the WBF Light Heavyweight belt.
Also seeing action is light middleweight Delaney Howard, 5-1, 3 KO’s, with an opponent yet to be determined.
In his second pro start at Cruiserweight, Omari Braxton, 1-0, takes on Iso Kone who will be making his pro debut.
Rounding-out the night’s action is welterweight Mujtabaa Muhammad, 1-1, will fight 32-year old late bloomer Nicholas Cadena, 1-4, 1 KO.
Fox Sports-Cleveland will distribute the affair for exclusive rebroadcasts.
