“The Ghost” Guerrero is in “La Reina’s Corner

IBF featherweight champion Robert “The Ghost ” Guerrero has witnessed Carina Moreno’s (17-1, 5 KO) skill in the gym and seen several of her fights. He has no doubt she will emerge from her June 13 IFBA title match against Eileen Olszewski ( 5-0-1) as the champ when they meet June 13 on “Finally” the all women’s championship pay per view in Albuquerque, NM at the Isleta Resort Casino..

“Carina is a little of both technical and brawler,” Guerrero said . “She can box and she can brawl it out if the situation demands it. Just from watching her fight, she can adjust and do anything. Carina has a great defense, is able to cut off the ring really good and can set up a lot of stuff as far as combinations and stuff go.”

Experience and poise Guerrero thinks will also play a part in Carina having a winning performance June 13, even though she and Olszewski were amateur sparring partners. “It doesn’t make any difference that they were sparring partners,” Guerrero said. “Carina has learned a lot over the years and she has the experience. Plus fighting big fights, and this being a big event and a pay per view, Carina has been a main event fighter, so she knows what goes on, and has the composure to deal with the event, and the pressure, having been there before.”

With all Carina Moreno brings to the ring, “The Ghost” suggests Eileen Olszewski “bring her A game- Carina is in incredible shape and throws lots of punches and changes it up, so anybody facing her should definitely bring their “A” game.”
