On Friday night, October 3rd one of the best Heavyweights in the world will be coming back to the Legendary Blue Horizon as Blue Horizon Boxing Inc in association with Score America and Goossen-Tutor present: The Return of “Fast” Eddie Chambers. Chambers, 31-1 with seventeen knockouts is currently ranked number-eight by the IBF, will grace The Legendary Blue Horizon ring for the first time in almost two and one-half years. Chambers amassed a perfect record of17-0 with nine knockouts at The Legendary Blue Horizon..
Since last fighting at The Legendary Blue Horizon, Chambers has built up a world-wide following by scoring victories over Derrick Rossy (15-0), Dominick Guinn (28-4-1) and Calvin Brock (31-1).
Chambers was one win a way from fighting for the Heavyweight championship of the world when he dropped a close decision to Alexander Povetkin.
The Philadelphia native got back in the win column on June 20th when he viciously stopped Raphael Butler in six rounds in The Cayman Islands.

CHICAGO, IL , (September 11, 2008) One week ahead of “ LIBERTY ”, the world class professional boxing card set for Friday, September 19th at Cicero Stadium, members of the 8 Count Productions team will join with the town of Cicero in their Mexican Independence Celebration by riding in the annual parade this Saturday afternoon. September 13th.
Chicago’s “blood and guts” warrior, Luciano “EL MICHOACAN” Perez and his brother Noe Perez, both of whom will be appearing at “LIBERTY” will be joined by undefeated junior welterweight Ivan Popoca and world ranked bantamweight Francisco “EL NINO AZTECA” Rodriguez.

Headlining the “ LIBERTY ” card is an eight round junior welterweight bout between Sonora , Mexico ’s Ramon Montano and Bayamon , Puerto Rico native Mike Gonzalez.
The co-main event features the return of Chicago fan favorite Luciano “EL MICHOACAN” Perez taking on Puerto Rico ’s Devin Lopez in a junior middleweight bout.
In a special feature attraction, Noe Perez, will make his professional debut. The nineteen old amateur standout will battle local favorite Nick Arellano in a scheduled four round lightweight bout. Perez was the 132 pound 2008 Chicago Golden Gloves champion.
Also featured at “LIBERTY” is a six round light heavyweight bout between undefeated Chicagoan Gerald Taylor, who will look to continue his winning ways against Davenport, Iowa’s Jeffrey Osborne Jr.. in a scheduled six round bout.
Opening the show, Chicago based fighters Miguel Angel Figueroa and Jeff “THE BIG FROG” Curran will battle in a four round bout.
