The city of Halle an der Saale will be the center of attention at the beginning of December: popular WBA/WIBF flyweight champion Susi Kentikian and her three stable mates Sebastian Zbik, Vitali Tajbert and Sebastian Köber will headline the „ProSieben Fight Night“ on Friday, December 5 at the Brandberge Arena. Filling out the card will be the local heroes and up-and-coming fighters Oliver Güttel, Tommy Altmann und Falko Besser..
The event will start at 6:30pm with the live TV coverage from 10:50pm on ProSieben. Regina Halmich and Jan Stecker will be doing the commentory duing the night.
In the last „ProSieben Fight Night” in 2008 Susi Kentikian will jeopardize her WIBF and WBA belts. The „Killer Queen” and unbeaten female flyweight superstar Susi Kentikian (22-0, 16 KOs) will take on the Russian Anastasia Toktaulova. The well experienced Toktaulova has fought memorable battles for world titles against Julia Sahin et al.
Kentikian, who has KO ratio of 72.73% (astonishing for a female boxer), has won 16 of her 22 bouts by KO. Toktaulova on the other hand has won 13 of her 22 fights with 9 defeats.
In the co-feature, unbeaten super featherweight Vitali Tajbert (17-0, 6 KOs) fights for the European championship against the experienced Sergey Gulyakevich (25-1, 12 KOs).
Also in a sensational matchup between unbeaten heavyweights, Sebastian Köber (16-0, 11 KOs) takes on stallmate Dieter Roth (19-0, 12 KOs). The 29 year old Köber has 16 fights with 11 Kos while Roth has scored 12 knockouts in 19 fights.
In addition, WBO #1/WBA #3 middleweight Sebastian Zbik (24-0, 9 KOs) will see action in an eight-rounder.

The Universum boxer is set to challenge WBA light heavyweight world champion Hugo Hernan Garay on November 22 in an explosive showdown at the Stadthalle Rostock. “It’s finally my first world title chance as a professional. I have waited for years and worked hard. It’s especially nice is that as a Mecklenburger I am getting the the chance here. I would like to make my dream come true in Rostock” stated Brähmer. Trainer Michael Timm: “This is a fight to the last drop of blood.”

Two additional world title fights featuring the Universum world champions Ina Menzer and Alesia Graf will certainly supports the great boxing programme for the event in the hanseatic city of Rostock. In a pair of female world title bouts, WIBF/GBU junior bantamweight champion Alesia Graf (21-1, 9 KOs) defends against unbeaten spotlight boxing fighter Magdalena Dahlen (9-0, 3 KOs). In this „stable challenge“ the Stuttgart based Graf will have another tough challenge as Magdalena Dahlen is known as a talented and ambitious talent in this weight class.
World champion Ina Menzer faces the Brazilian Adriana Salles
A tough and literally big challenge is coming up for unbeaten featherweight world champion Ina Menzer (21-0-0, 9 K.o.) of the Universum stable. The reigning WBC and WIBF champion of Mönchengladbach will feature within the „Universum Champions Night“ in Rostock and will face the Brazilian Adriana Salles (11-3-1, 5 K.o.). Ina Menzer on her opponent from Sao Paulo: „She is a typical south american boxer. Fighting in an awkeward style and always attacking. Adriana is with 5’7 obviously taller than me, about seven centimeters. That can make the difference but for every problem there is a solution. I will find that one with my trainer.“

Also unbeaten WBO Intercontinental light heavyweight champion Aleksy Kuziemski (15-0, 2 KOs) has a tough nut to crack in Yuri Barashian (25-4, 17 KOs). The ex-Euro champ Barashian lost the fight for the vacant WBA light heavyweight title against Garay, who is now facing Jürgen Brähmer. He had previously beaten Brähmer’s stablemate Thomas Ulrich for the euro championship by KO in round 8. For Kuziemski this will be a tough challenge in his second title defence.
In his first title chance, spotlight boxing super middleweight Eduard “Eddy” Gutknecht (14-0, 6 KOs) faces Christian Pawlak (9-2, 5 KOs) for the German title. Gutknecht previously outpointed Pawlak, who is trained by Graciano Rocchigiani, in their first meeting in July 2007.
