LAS VEGAS, NV (August 4, 2009) Sensational featherweight prospect Dat “BE DAT” Nguyen has been added to the “TKO World Championship Boxing at the Pala Casino” event, an evening of world class professional boxing set for Saturday, August 22nd at the Pala Casino Spa and Resort in Pala, California. The all action Nguyen, a native of Bien Hoa, Vietnam , currently living in Vero Beach, California , is trained by former world champion Buddy McGirt. The Pala Casino bout will be his first in Southern California over the course of his five year professional career.

In his most recent bout, Nguyen ran his current winning streak to four with a terrific eight round unanimous decision win over Carlos Hernandez on May 28th at the Arena Theatre in Houston, Texas , a win which raised his record to 15-1-0 (6KO’s). He was led to the ring by the “Mua Lan”, a traditional Vietnamese lion dance designed to exorcise evil spirits.

BAYAN JARGAL CONTINUES TERRIFIC 2009 HEADS TO RURAL RUMBLE ON AUGUST 29TH
