News: Dunkin Inks Timothy Bradley; Arnaoutis To Face New Opponent

LAS VEGAS, NV (August 26, 2009) Current WBO junior welterweight world champion Timothy Bradley has signed an exclusive managerial agreement with award winning manager Cameron Dunkin, it was announced today. Bradley joins Dunkin’s long list of outstanding fighters including world champions Kelly Pavlik, Nonito Donaire, Steven Luevano and sensational middleweight prospect Matvey Korobov..

Said Dunkin, “I’ve followed Timothy since his amateur days and right now he’s amongst the best fighters in the world. I’m honored to be working with him and I’m looking forward to putting him in the biggest fights possible.”

The 25 year old Bradley, 24-0-0 (11KO’), is coming off a third round stoppage of former world champion Nate Campbell on August 1st, a decision which the California State Athletic Commission has recently changed to a “no contest” due to a cut Campbell suffered over his left eye.

Mike Arnaoutis To Face New Opponent, Weigh-in Results

North Bergen, NJ – “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis tipped the scales at a ripped and ready 143.5 pounds for his ten-round bout tomorrow night at North Bergen, NJ’s Schuetzen Park. His original opponent Troy Browning pulled out Monday with an upper respiratory issue which hindered his training camp. Last minute replacement Ilido Julio tipped the scales at 134.5. The event will be promoted by Pound4Pound Promotions.

Arnaoutis, 22-3-1 (10 KO), is making his second consecutive appearance at Schuetzen Park. The southpaw from Atlantic City by way of Sparta, Greece went to war with hard-hitting banger Doel Carrasquillo in his last outing, thrilling the audience with his brazen tactics. Arnaoutis has held the NABO and USBA light-welterweight titles and came up on the short end of a close decision to Ricardo Torres in a bid for the WBO belt in 2006.

Julio, 38-15-1 (34 KO), brings an imposing knockout percentage and a ton of experience against elite opposition to the table. The 38-year-old Miami, FL resident by way of Turbo, Colombia has won three consecutive fights by knockout.

Arnaoutis will be working with new head trainer Ray McCline for this bout, who rose to prominence for his work with former light-heavyweight champion Virgil Hill.
