Schneider, who is a former U.S. Marine, who served four years of active duty, was most recently seen participating as one of the Star’s on the hit reality show “The Contender” Season 4.
SCOTLAND INVADES WESTCHESTER
In what is sure to be the toughest fight in his young pro career, Star Boxing’s exciting Scottish heavyweight Ian Millarvie (7-0, 5KO) will take on veteran brawler Terrell “Baby Bull” Nelson (8-9, 5KO) in a four round heavyweight special attraction. For Millarvie, it will be just the second time in his career he has fought in the United States, and it will come against the always game Nelson, who is coming off a spirited effort decision loss to fellow Star Boxing heavyweight, and 2004 U.S. Olympic Team Captain, Devin Vargas.

The bout scheduled for six round in the super bantamweight division. Kedem fought on Star Boxing’s first installment of Rumble at the Hilton Rye Town, earning a draw against Robert DaLuz in what many considered to be the fight of the night, as both warriors stood toe-to-toe for the entire eight round fight, having the packed crowd in attendance on the edge of their seats and standing and applauding for each and every round.
FORMER YANKEE RETURNS FROM THREE-YEAR HIATUS
Also on the card, returning from a three-year hiatus from the ring, is former New York Yankee’s second round draft pick, and former University of Florida defensive back, Richard Brown (4-0, 2KO). Brown will take on New York City’s own Andrew Hutchinson (2-11-2) in a four round cruiserweight matchup. Brown was drafted in the 2nd round by the Yankees in the 1995 draft. Brown played six years in the minors before being called up in 2001. He spent thirty-three days on the big league roster before hurting his shoulder. Brown will be looking to feed of his former team’s recent three-game sweep in the divisional playoffs as he looks to get his boxing career back underway, and add another win to his unbeaten record.
Rounding out the card will be Stamford, Connecticut’s Ahmad Mickens (1-0) as he squares off against pro-debuting Todd Eriksson. The bout is scheduled for four rounds in the light heavyweight division.

Keith Thurman Added to Ballroom Brawl!
Tampa, FL: One Punch Productions and Fight Factory Promotions are pleased to announce that undefeated welterweight prospect Keith “One Time” Thurman has been added to the November 6th Ballroom Brawl in Tampa, FL. Thurman (10-0, 10 KO’s) resides in St. Petersburg and is trained by legendary trainer Dan Birmingham. “Dan and Shelly Finkel (Finkel manages Thurman) worked really hard to make this happen, and without their efforts this wouldn’t have been possible” said One Punch Productions CEO Terry J. Trekas. “When Lenroy Thomas unfortunately had to be removed from the show, we knew we needed something explosive to take his place. What’s more explosive than a 10-0 guy with 10 knockouts, with 8 of those knockouts coming in the first round?. It doesn’t get much more explosive than that” added Trekas. Also added to the card is Tampa cruiserweight Nick “The Showstopper” Iannuzzi (12-1, 7 KO’s). Iannuzzi is coming off a shocking TKO loss to Harvey Jolly that occurred on Sept 19. “I was thinking that Nick would probably take the rest of the year off after the Jolly fight, but he made it clear to me that what happened in September was a fluke, and that he wanted to fight on this card to show everyone what he is really made of” commented Trekas.
The Ballroom Brawl! undercard features the best and brightest up and coming talent in the region. St. Petersburg jr. middleweight Manny Woods (1-0), jr. lightweight Cordaro Simpkins (2-0), Tampa heavyweight Lamar Davis (3-1), undefeated Ft. Myers brothers Quinton Willis (4-0) and Marcus Willis (3-0), as well as Tampa welterweight Ray Cepeda (1-0) will all see action on that last fight card in the Tampa Bay area for 2009.
The event takes place at the beautiful downtown Tampa Hyatt Regency on Friday November 6. Doors open at 7pm, and the action starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are priced at $20, $35, and $75, and are available at all Ticketmaster location, ticketmaster.com, Fight Factory Gym, or by calling 813-503-8109. “Halloween Havoc” in Yonkers
O’Shea Brothers Boxing Oct. 30
YONKERS, N.Y. (October 16, 2009) – No trick or treatin’, ghosts, ghouls or vampires — just a night of exciting, competitive pro boxing on tap Halloween Eve (Oct. 30) at the Yonkers Armory.
“Halloween Havoc,” featuring some of New York’s most promising prospects, is being presented by O’Shea Brothers Boxing Promotions.
“We’re bringing old-school boxing back to the fans,” promoter Brian O’Shea said. “We’re showcasing a lot of young, talented fighters on this card. We have real fighters, not guys fighting easy, hand-picked opponents.”
Puerto Rican heavyweight Alexis Mejias (10-1, 4 KOs), fighting out of Paterson, New Jersey, headlines against Josh Harris (3-3-1, 2 KOs) in the 6/8 round main event.
In the 6-round co-feature, Bronx featherweights, “Crazy” Eddie Irizarry (7-1, 2 KOs) and Joey Arroyo (2-1, 0 KOs) throw-down for neighborhood bragging rights.
Unbeaten African welterweight Issouf Kinda (5-0, 3 KOs) fights an opponent to be determined in a 6-rounder, while two 1-0 bantamweights with a common past, Raul Lopez (1-0, 1 KO) and Jose “Chilli” Rivera (1-0, 0 KOs), rekindle their rivalry in a 6-round match.
Also on the undercard in 4-round bouts is super middleweight Shqiprim “ White Tiger” Muriqi (1-0, 0 KOs) vs. Fasika Bezabeth, light middleweight Lambros “Lionheart” Karaolides (3-0, 2 KOs) vs. TBA, pro debuting heavyweight Adam Kownacki vs. TBA, pro debuting lightweights Michael Brooks and Jamel Brown, super featherweight Angel “Terror” Torres (1-3-2, 1 KO) vs. Takeshi Sato in his pro debut. All fights and fighters are subject to change.
“It’s going to be a great night of boxing,” O’Shea noted. “We have two 1-0 kids, Lopez and Rivera, fighting each other again. They fought three times in the New York Golden Gloves with Lopez winning twice. Kinda’s a solid prospect, ‘Crazy’ Eddie’s only loss in eight pro fights was a close decision, and Kownacki is a 2-time New York Golden Gloves champion.”
