STAR BOXING ANNOUNCES 12/3 EVENT TO BE SHOWN LIVE ON VERSUS
Star Boxing has announced that the premiere December 3rd installment of its new series, “Hustler Boxing”, will be shown live on the nationally televised Versus Network. Hustler Boxing is a new series of star-studded boxing events being presented by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing and Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club-NYC throughout the New York City area.
The premiere installment will take place at the Grand Ballroom at New York’s famous Manhattan Center, and will feature Star Boxing’s light welterweight contender, “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis (22-3-2, 10KO) taking on Tim “Pit Bull” Coleman (16-1-1, 4KO) for the vacant USBA light welterweight championship. The card will also feature a battle between undefeated, sensational welterweight prospects, Star Boxing’s “The New” Ray Robinson (11-0, 4KO) and three-time national golden gloves champion, Brad Solomon (8-0, 3KO). Robinson vs. Solomon is scheduled for six rounds.

This VIP evening of boxing and entertainment, hosted by various celebrities, will feature special entertainment and top boxing. Larry Flynt’s Hustler Honeys will serve as ring card girls, hostesses at all VIP dinner tables and will be entertaining late into the evening at the official after-fight-party to be held at the Hustler Club 641 W. 51st street in Manhattan.
Interestingly, the show will feature a ‘Honey’ of another kind as Versus will be airing its first ever female bout as Star Boxing has added a World Championship match-up between “The Real Million Dollar Baby” Maureen Shea (13-2, 7KO) and Jenna “Cowgirl” Shivers (9-4-1, 2KO). Shea vs. Shivers is for the Interim WBA Female Super Bantamweight Championship of the World and is scheduled for ten rounds.
Hustler Boxing is being presented by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing and Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in association with Stonecutter Event Promotions, Inc. Shawn Porter Tops “Boxing’s Future Champions III” PPV This Saturday!
Tunica, MS – Prize Fight Boxing showcases a slew of young talent on “Boxing’s Future Champions III” Saturday Night at Fitzgeralds Casino in Tunica, MS.
The main event of the evening features highly touted junior middleweight Shawn “Showtime” Porter against Jerome “Boomer” Ellis and can be viewed by fans from all four corners of the globe for just $4.99 on Prizefighttv.com and Gofightlive.tv.
A 2008 United States Olympic Alternate, Porter, 10-0 (8 KO’s), served as Manny Pacquiao’s primary sparring partner leading up to his fight with Miguel Cotto. The Akron, OH native also appeared on HBO’s famed 24-7 series and received kudos from three time Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach for pushing the pound for pound king to the max.
Ellis, 12-9-2 (10 KO’s), is tougher than advertised and has one of the most deceptive records in boxing. Hailing from Coconut Creek, FL by way of Nassau, Bahamas, Ellis fought to a draw with well regarded Richard Gutierrez, while a dropping close decisions to title challengers Miki Rodriguez, Irving Garcia and rising star Antwone Smith among others. The gritty Ellis holds victories over three unbeaten fighters and was stopped just once.
Porter and Ellis meet over 8 rounds.
The co-main event features an eight round lightweight contest between Tyrese “Head Honcho” Hendrix, 17-0-1 (7 KO’s), of Gainesville, GA and 67 fight veteran Marteze “Too Sweet” Logan of Covington, TN. Hendrix has put together a string of impressive performances, most recently stopping 12-3 Robbie Cannon inside of two rounds.
Philadelphia, PA super middleweight Farah Ennis makes his much anticipated return to the ring over six rounds against Tuscaloosa, AL’s Anthony Doughty 5-1 (4 KO’s). Ennis, 11-0 (5 KO’s), outpointed unbeaten Bobby Jordan in June.
Also appearing on the undercard in separate bouts are amateur sensation turned knockout artist Dominic “The Blade” Wade, two time US Amateur Champion Mike Wilson and Star Boxing’s Raymond “Tito” Serrano.
