Former IBF Light Middleweight World Champion Roman “Made in Hell” Karmazin (39-3-1, 25KOs) looks to continue his ascent in the Middleweight division when he takes on Columbian knock out specialist Dionisio “Mister Knockout” Miranda (20-4-2, 18KOs) for the right to challenge for the IBF Middleweight World Title. The 12 round main event will headline GLENDALE GLORY 2 at the Glendale Civic Auditorium on Friday, January 8, 2010 and will be broadcast LIVE on the 2010 season premiere of ESPN’s “Friday Night Fights..”
Karmazin, fighting out of Los Angeles by way of St. Petersburg, Russia, won his first World Title by dominating then IBF Light Middleweight Champion Kasim “The Dream” Ouma in 2005. With Hall of Fame trainer Freddy Roach in his corner and recent victories over former World Title holder Bronco McKart and World Title challenger Antwun Echols, Karmazin looks to show the world that he deserves the right to challenge for the IBF World Middleweight Title.
Standing in Karmazin’s way and looking to make a statement with his third appearance fighting on ESPN, Dioniso Miranda would want nothing more than to land his signature right hand and earn a shot at the IBF World Middleweight Title. Having lost a tough fought decision to undefeated prospect Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin, the Columbian later accepted a fight on short days notice and traveled to Quebec, Canada where he claimed the vacant NABA Middleweight Title from hometown hero Sebastian Demers.
In a special feature, Mexican slugger Jose “Shibata” Flores (43-10, 25Kos) makes his return to the ring after a successful stint as a singer to campaign at the Middleweight division. The always entertaining Flores has fought some of the toughest fighters over the past sixteen years including former World Champions Verno Phillips, Fernando Vargas, Raul Marquez, and Vince Phillips.
The Glendale Glory 2 undercard will feature several undefeated prospects including Prenice Brewer (13-0), Art Hovanessian (10-0), Ismayl Sillakh (9-0), Khabir Suleymanov (9-0), Jesus Selig (10-0), Max Skayzer (7-0-1), as well as WBC Ranked Heavyweight Andrey Fedosov (20-1) and local favorites Gabriel Tolmajyan (6-1) and Artur Bernetsyan (pro debut).

HAMER SHOWCASED ON BROADWAY BOXING IN NEW YORK CITY ON DECEMBER 16
(December 12, 2009) Top shelf heavyweight prospect Tor Hamer is going late night. Hamer (9-0, 7 KOs) will appear this Friday night/Saturday morning (12/11 – 12/12) on the hit NBC late night show Last Call with Carson Daly. The show airs at 1:35 ET/12:35 CT.
Hamer will be shown putting in a day’s work at his home away from home: Brooklyn’s famed Gleason’s Gym. Sparring and bag work will be part of the nationally televised piece, as well as an interview with the young pugilist.
Hamer’s guest spot comes less than a week in advance of his December 16 Broadway Boxing showcase at BB King Blues Club & Grill in Times Square. Hamer takes on rugged veteran Domonic Jenkins (13-11-1, 6 KOs) in the 8-round co-feature.

McLaurin Added to December 18 Card, Agrees to Deal With MSC
Minneapolis,MN-Lightweight prospect Jeremy McLaurin can be added to the list of names set to do battle on December 18. McLaurin joins Cerresso Fort, Javontae Starks, and Derek Winston as the Minnesota natives set to do battle at Grand Casino Hinckley.
McLaurin will be pitted with Darryl Hayes(3-0 1ko) on the card and will aim to capture his sixth career victory. The fight comes as the first of his multi-fight deal with Midwest Sports Council.
“I’m excited to open a new chapter in my career, and am looking forward to big things in 2010” McLaurin said.
The next chapter of McLaurin’s career will be interesting, as the lengthy McLaurin can fight at a relatively wide range of weight classes, presenting a vast group of possible opponents throughout Minnesota, and beyond.
“Jeremy McLaurin is a fantastic addition to the MSC stable of fighters. When his new management contacted us about a possible deal, we were eager to get him on paper as soon as we were certain he wasn’t affiliated with any other promotional groups. Rapacz says the deal comes with the help of McLaurin’s newly acquired management staff Andrew Studer, and Jeremy Bjornberg.

Tucker-Armenta Headlines “TNT’s Toys for Tots” December 11!
Westminster, MD – A very special night it will be Friday December 11 at the Shipley Arena when USBO Light Heavyweight champion Mark “TNT” Tucker headlines an exciting night of boxing, where fans can enjoy an action packed card and help out those in need.
Tucker, 12-0 (7 KO’s), makes his first title defense against hard hitting instate rival George “El Gallo” Armenta. The Eldersburg, MD based Tucker has victories over title challengers Rubin Williams and Ross Thompson, pounding out decisions in both fights. Dubbed by local media as “the franchise” due to his large fan base, Tucker returns to the Shipley Arena for a fifth consecutive time.
Armenta, 13-4 (11 KO’s), of Silver Springs, won seven of his last eight fights and enters the ring with an array of confidence. The hard hitting Armenta holds victories over world title challenger Irving Garcia, 2000 Olympian Dante Craig and dropped a controversial majority decision to WBA Junior Middleweight champion Yuri Foreman. Armenta has promised to end Tucker’s night early.
The Tucker-Armenta USBO Light Heavyweight title fight will take place over ten rounds.
With Christmas coming only two weeks after fight night, Toys for Tots representatives will be on hand throughout the evening to collect donations. All ticket holders are encouraged to bring toys no longer in use to help make this Christmas enjoyable for the less fortunate.

Hot prospect James “Keep em Sleepin” Stevenson, 12-0 (10 KO’s), of Baltimore, MD tops a talented undercard and will appear against North Carolina’s John Williams in a six round junior middleweight contest. An excellent boxer-puncher, Stevenson is rated amongst the elite prospects in the Beltway Region.
Also slated to appear in separate bouts are former elite amateurs Emmanuel “Transformer” Taylor, “Slick” Nick Kisner, and Adam Willett. Local favorites Allan Perkins “Pit Bull” Perkins and Omar Sims will respectively appear four round middleweight bouts.
