In The Sport of Boxing there is no standardized requirements or certifications for one to become a boxing trainer, manger, or cut man. Most often the experience one has in this position falls into one of these categories: a former boxer, friend of a boxer or fan of boxing. “This is a serious problem the sport of boxing is facing. The liability factor is great when it comes to the safety of the fighter, these clinics are designed to address this issue and begin to FILL THE GAP. This Boxing Clinic will provide others knowledge and insight into what I have learned over the past 56 years being in the sport of Boxing,” says Steward.
Attendees will leave with knowledge in the following areas:
• Basic Boxing Fundamentals
• Proper Pad Work
• Conditioning
• Balance/Footwork
• Hand Wrapping
• Diet/Nutrition
