ST. LOUIS, MO (October 8, 2010) Deandre “BULL” Latimore has regrouped and is lining up his targets as he heads into the new year with a new team and an improved attitude towards his career.
The junior middleweight contender, sporting a record of 21-3-0 with seventeen knockouts, is back with his training team that saw him at his most successful, along with a new manager..
“Previously I was working with a company called Sweat/Pound 4 Pound here in St. Louis. I was working with their in-house trainer Jose Ponce, but things just weren’t clicking so I’ve decided to make some changes” said the 25 year old. ‘There are no hard feelings; it just wasn’t working so we’ve completely parted ways.”
“I’m heading back to Las Vegas tomorrow and will be training with Ray Franklin and Jacob Chavez going forward. They were with me at my best when I knocked out Sechew Powell in our first fight and I’m thrilled to be working with them again.”
Still promoted by Rumble Time Promotions of St. Louis and DiBella Entertainment, Latimore will now be managed by Nevada businessman Chris Watkins.

On April 24, 2009, Latimore challenged former world champion Cory Spinks for the vacant IBF junior middleweight title, losing a very close split decision.
Continued Latimore, “We’re looking at an IBF eliminator right after the first of the year, guys like Vanes Martirosyan, Kermit Cintron or Erislandy Lara, I’m ready to go right now against any of them or against Cornelius Bundradge who has the belt.
“Whatever I need to do to become a world champion, I will, back and better than ever in 2011.”
Latimore, currently ranked #7 by the IBF, is coming off a show-stopping third round knockout of veteran Darien Ford on July 24th in St. Louis.

BALTIMORE, MD (October 8, 2010) For the third year in a row, TKO Boxing Promotions has teamed up with The Jonathan Ogden Foundation to present “An Evening Ringside” charity boxing event on Thursday, October 21st at the Martins Valley Mansion in Cockeysville, Maryland.

Featured at the action packed evening of professional boxing will be several world class prospects and local fan favorites.
Headlining “An Evening Ringside” will be a welterweight clash between sensational undefeated welterweight prospect Emmanuel “The Tranzformer” Taylor of Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland and Puerto Rico’s Javier Perez.
Just 19 years old, Taylor has been the talk of the talent rich Maryland boxing scene since turning professional in March of 2009. Sporting a record of 9-0-0 with eight knockouts, Taylor has continued to thrill fans along the East Coast with his bone shattering knockouts.
With a record of 7-3-0 with five knockouts, the 26 year old Perez brings the experience of numerous ring wars fought in Puerto Rico to the Martins Valley Mansion ring.
Also featured at “An Evening Ringside” is outstanding lightweight prospect Terence Crawford of Omaha, Nebraska. A winner of numerous national amateur titles, the 23 year old Crawford has impressed boxing fans and media across the country for the last three years with his world class skills and blistering power.
Thought by many in the boxing world as one of the sports brightest prospects, Crawford has amassed a perfect record of 12-0-0 with nine knockouts since turning professional. Further details on Crawford’s bout will be announced shortly.
Former amateur standout Alantez “TEZ” Fox will make his long awaited first professional appearance in the Baltimore area. Fighting out of nearby Forestville, the 18 year old Fox won his pro debut with a dominant four round decision over Kevin Kibler on July 31st at the Sovereign Bank Baseball Stadium in York, PA.
Fox, 1-0-0, will see action against Cleveland based newcomer Michael Suarez, 0-1-0, in a four round junior middleweight tilt.
In a special attraction four rounder, Cleveland, Ohio’s Carla Torres and Jennifer Wood of Lynchburg, Virginia, will square off in a ladies junior middleweight bout.
Wood made a very successful pro debut with a first round knockout of Shanna Allen on May 8th in Bedford, Virginia. Torres will be making her pro debut.
Light heavyweights also will see action as Baltimore’s Maxell “The General” Taylor will face Brooklyn, New York’s Ariel Espinal in a scheduled four round bout.
After a four year layoff, the 26 year old Taylor, 14-2-1 (5KO’s), got back in business with a six round decision over Francois Ambang on September 17th at the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.
A native of the Dominican Republic, Espinal, 8-16-3 (4KO’s), battled longtime local favorite Mike Paschall in a six round war on September 10th, losing a hard fought majority draw.
Rounding out the six bout card is a four round super middleweight bout between undefeated Randallstown, Maryland native Dale “Hit Hard as Hell” Roberson-EL, 4-0-0 (2KO’s) and Frank Armstrong of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 4-15-3 (3KO’s)
