by David Pambianchi: Once again, New Yorkers got treated to an evening of heart, dreams and “hard knocks” as combatants gave their best in night #1 of the 84th Annual Daily News Golden Gloves Finals. Madison Square Garden teemed with boxing fans eager to see a friend or relative capture one of 14 coveted Championship bouts. With women’s boxing making its 2012 Olympics debut in London, some of tonight’s competitors may become Olympic hopefuls.
