The Weigh-in was held today in Atlantic City for tomorrow’s (June 4) battle between WBC Super Middleweight Champion Carl “The Cobra” Froch (27-1, 20 KOs) and former World Champion Glen “The Road Warrior” Johnson (51-14-2, 35 KOs). .
The two will meet in the Super Six World Boxing Classic Semifinal at the Adrian Phillips Ballroom at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City and televised LIVE on SHOWTIME at 9 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the west coast).

Gonzalez and Dulorme Make Weight at Preliminary Weigh-in
GUAYNABO, PUERTO RICO – Undefeated Team Puerto Rico members Jonathan “Mantequilla” Gonzalez (13-0, 13 KOs) and Thomas Dulorme (11-0, 10 KOs) both made weight today in a preliminary weigh-in, required by the Puerto Rico Professional Boxing Commission, before participating in their upcoming bouts at Boricua Invasion I and II in New York City on June 10 and 11.
The two sluggers were required to weigh no more than 161 and 154 pounds, respectively, equivalent to 5% above the weight. Gonzalez tipped the scales at 161 and Dulorme came in at 149, and both looked in excellent physical condition.
Dulorme will fight the experienced DeMarcus Corley (37-17-1, 22 KOs) for the NABA Welterweight Championship at Boricua Invasion I on June 10 at Roseland Ballroom in New York and televised live on ESPN Friday Night Fights.
Gonzalez will face hard-hitting Richard Gutierrez (26-6-1, 16 KOs) for the NABA and WBO Latino Youth Junior Middleweight Championships at Boricua Invasion II, on June 11, also at Roseland Ballroom in New York and televised live on ShoBox: The New Generation at 10:35 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME.

“I’m in the best shape of my life and I know I’ll fight very well. Gutierrez is an excellent fighter and for that reason I gave it my all in training,” said Gonzalez.
After the preliminary weigh-in both fighters delighted the audience with their skills, along with another member of Team Puerto Rico, José Pedraza (2-0, 2 KOs).
“I feel good. My training has been great and I am ready to fight next Friday,” said Pedraza, who will appear at Friday’s Boricua Invasion I against Tomi Archambault (1-1).
Dulorme, Pedraza and Gonzalez will travel to New York next Tuesday.
This event was also very special because the team’s honorary captain Wilfred “El Radar” Benitez, was present to support Pedraza, Dulorme and Gonzalez.
Team Puerto Rico was developed by promoters Gary Shaw, Lou DiBella, Javier Bustillo and Leon Margules in order to group the best young talent on the island on one team.

Back-to-back, on June 10 and 11 (Friday and Saturday before the 2011 National Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday) at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City, Gary Shaw Productions and DiBella Entertainment will present Boricua Invasion I and II, featuring members of Team Puerto Rico Boxing, the eight-man team of Puerto Rico’s future ring stars.
Friday’s Boricua Invasion I will feature the unstoppable welterweight on everybody’s “one to watch” list, Thomas Dulorme (11-0, 10 KOs) vs. former world champion DeMarcus Corley; Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico’s highlight-reel welterweight KO specialist Kenny “Battlestar” Galarza (14-1, 14 KOs) vs. Puerto Rican compatriot Irving Garcia and the future superstar already fighting in main events after just two bouts, Jose “Sniper” Pedraza (2-0, 2 KOs). The main bouts of Boricua Invasion I will be televised on ESPN Friday Night Fights.
Saturday’s Boricua Invasion II will feature four more members of Team Puerto Rico: featherweight Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle (12-0, 10 KOs) vs. Dat Nguyen; junior middleweight Jonathan “Mantequilla Gonzalez (12-0, 12 KOs); and light welterweight Sanchez vs. Arroyo.
