Rios vs. Murray & Wolak vs. Rodriguez replay on HBO on Saturday; Franco vs. Gonzalez on Friday

It’s a special lineup of boxing action when the replay of BRANDON RIOS VS. JOHN MURRAY AND PAWEL WOLAK VS. DELVIN RODRIGUEZ, is presented this THURSDAY, DEC. 8 at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), exclusively on HBO Latino. The Spanish language broadcast team of Mario Diaz and Raul Marquez who were ringside for the live event at Madison Square Garden in New York, will call all the action.

In the highly charged atmosphere of Madison Square Garden before the anticipated rematch of Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito these two undercard fights went before the crowd and delivered exciting ring action on Dec. 3 in New York City.

Additionally, HBO Latino will present the Cotto-Margarito II replay on Saturday, Dec. 10, along with the live “HBO World Championship Boxing®” doubleheader that begins at 9:45 p.m. ET/6:45 PT featuring Amir Khan vs. Lamont Peterson in a super lightweight title matchup. Subsequent showings of Cotto-Margarito II will be paired with the Rios-Murray and Wolak-Rodriguez bouts.

WBO DONATES $2,500 TO CASA LAURA VICUÑA IN CAGUAS, PUERTO RICO

CAGUAS, PUERTO RICO- As part of the successful “Kids Drug Free”, World Boxing Organization (WBO) and former world champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. visited today the Casa Laura Vicuña, a nonprofit institution that work with kids’ education, to make a donation for their work in favor of the kids of the Barriada Morales in Caguas.

Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel and the WBO donated $2,500 to the Casa Laura Vicuña, a nonprofit institution directed by the Salesian Sisters who work with children and youngsters (between 4 and 18 years) in education and prevention on their free time helping them with tutoring, homeworks sports and artistic activities. The WBO donated the dinner and some gifts for the youngsters.

There were in the Casa Laura Vicuña Vazquez Jr. , prospects Jonathan “Bomba” Gonzalez, David Quijano, Rafael Gonzalez, some amateur fighters, trainers Orlando Piñero and Alex Caraballo, and Luis Perez, WBO Chairman of the Ratings Committee.
