By Vitali Shaposhnikov: In a recent interview with Jim Rome, Wladimir Klitshcko talked about his feelings about Chisora and Haye, and discussed why his boxing style is boring yet effective. He also, touched on the competition that he is hoping to face by the end of this year. The two opponents that Wladimir had mentioned are fairly accomplished fighters, and out of the possible rivalry, I like his choice.

Chris Arreola (35-2-0), while not a sensational fighter, is a good choice for Wladimir to face sometime soon. Arreola is a warrior, always coming forward with an unrelenting power of will. He can take a shot, and give one back. Most importantly, Arreola made a name for himself by fighting Vitali Klitschko in 2009, and despite his loss to the Ukrainian giant, he was all of the sudden a bright dot on the map. Since then, he lost to only one man, Tomasz Adamek, and came out victorious in 9 of his other fights.

At the age of twenty nine and with a record of (24-0-1), Seth Mitchell might seem like a good solid adversary for Wladimir, and if we don’t take his recent competition into the equation, this may very well be true. Fighting an unbeaten fighter is always a good thing, because being the first one to knock out Mitchell, should undoubtedly add more respect to Wladimir’s already celebrated career.
Of course there are many other names that pop up when thinking about other boxers who deserve a shot at Wladimir’s title, but as we are in the process of learning in the world of boxing politics, you take what you get.
