Thomas Dulorme vs. Alberto Herrera on June 14th

June 6, 2012 – San Juan, Puerto Rico – Undefeated Puerto Rican super prospect Thomas Dulorme (14-0, 11 KOs) will face battle-tested Alberto Herrera (8-6-1, 5 KOs) in the co-main event of DiBella’s Entertainment Broadway Boxing card on June 14, 2012 in the Roseland Ballroom Theater in New York, N.Y.

Herrera, who’s fought as high as 154 pounds, has faced top competition such as Anthony Lenk (14-1, 7 KOs) and Olympian Demetrius Andrade (17-0, 12 KOs). The Dulorme-Herrara 10-round fight will be contested at 147 pounds.

“This is a good fight,” said Dulorme, who was born and raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico. “I have seen Herrera in action, specifically in the Andrade fight, and he is a strong fighter who has a lot of determination. I know what he is capable of and that is one of the reasons why I have prepared so thoroughly for this fight.

“I will continue to train hard, to give all my fellow Puerto Ricans great glory.”

Since his inception in boxing, Dulorme has been trained by the experienced Jose Bonilla, who in the past worked with world-class fighters like Edison “Pantera” Miranda and former world champion Carlos “El Indio” Quintana.

“This is a great fight and another opportunity for Thomas to further showcase his superiority,” Bonilla said. “Herrera has good boxing skills and has fought in higher weights, so you have to be very careful with him.”

Broadway Boxing is developed by DiBella Entertainment, who promotes Dulorme in conjunction with Gary Shaw Productions and Universal Promotions. Tickets are priced at $125, $85, $65 and $45, with a limited number of VIP tables also available for purchase. VIP Tickets are $150 (four seats to a table).

Tickets can be purchased by calling DiBella Entertainment at (212) 947-2577. Call soon as tickets are already going fast and a third consecutive sellout for the Broadway Boxing series is expected.
